So, this is becoming a place of mine to talk about things I dont want all facebookers, my family or anyone else to know. This is my place where I can talk about my life and what is going on with me and only people I allow in know me. Well, to start yesterday was going to be our early anniversary celebration, since we both wanted to go to this show at JPJ. Well, it starts out fabulous, painted the twins room, put up a new border, got the house cleaned and cooked dinner for the kids. Babysitter showed up right on time to go over all the "need to knows" about the kids and off we went.
I decided to drive the durango because it was full of gas and I rarely go anywhere during the week with the kids. BAD IDEA!!! Should have let the hubby drive his car, but on no, couldn't know the future eh?! We get to almost exit 118 and I smell oil and look back to see that the car that was on my bumper the entire time was now 1/2 a mile behind me. I looked at hubby and said we are losing oil some kind of bad back there. We pull over and he is like well the seal in the real end is out, we have got to try to get to my shop. BAD IDEA #2. I get to Barracks Road and slowing down sounds like a blender! Not good! I say to the hubby let's stop at the auto place and get some oil to put in the rear until we get there. No, we dont have to the tool we have to get there...ok....you know best. Get onto Georgetown Rd, still sounds like crap but were still moving. Onto Hydraulic we turn, 1 mile from his shop, it starts making the noise louder and louder and then what happens next, I'm serving all of the road like all 4 tires had just shot off the vehicle! I finally get a little control and get as far in the middle turn lane as possible. Hubby gets out and looks. I dont even want to move, I'm thinking of all nights for this to happen it happens on date night! So, we call a wrecker and I have a 2 min breakdown and wipe away my tears and put a smile back on my face as an officer shows up. Are you broke down? Hummm, yep! He asks for my license and says he is just going to hang out and help protect us until the wrecker comes. Fantastic, as if Im not embarrased enough, lets have a cop sit behind me with his lights on and bring the rest of the attention to myself! To top it off a woman walks over and goes, you have something leaking from the bottom of your vehicle! NO, REALLY? I have never in my life, lol.
So, to make matters worse, John had a slow week last fews weeks and only got $500 for the 2 weeks!! yeah talk about stressed out! We are financially struggling and this?? So, we get it towed and thankfully a friend that John works with had a spare car at the shop he let us borrow. We went to our show which was great, but we were going to do dinner and ended up eating $5 hotdog and a drink for each of us for $23 total! Wow lol. The show was great, but I couldnt get my mind off of the fact that we have two broken down vehicles and only 1 to use! This isnt working for me.
However, my hubby starts a new job next week that pays salary and damn good at that if I must say, which leaves us an extra 1300 a month after all the bills, gas, all the households and food. So, we will make it out of this with just a few minor scars and a $500 rear end, but it could be worse and I know that. More so I was really thankful that nobody got hurt and we made it home safe. I get home and Alex was sitting up and was oh so tired, but I guess really missed us. So we hugged him for a few mins and he was out...aww...the perfect ending to a crazy night!

Rock Stars!
So, on Tuesday while I left the hubby in charge for a few hours he decides that he will join a band with his kids. Picture walking in the door to the music blaring and your husband up on the coffee table playing a fake guitar, interesting yeah! lol. While this night stood for the first time it occured it has now become a ritual every night before the kids go to bed. Hillbilly Bone is the alltime favorite of all 3 kids, so that probably gets repeated 100 times!
Bedtimes have been a little insane. Since my boys adopted the RockStar lifestyle, they also must have picked up the sleeping schedule that goes along with it. Every night we are waking up anywhere from two to six times! I thought this sleeping through the night thing occured around 8 months, boy was I wrong!
So yay another weekend! What does this mean? More cleaning, more cooking, more dishes and one more kid to have to take care of, haha. It's also supposed to rain which means they are all going to be stuck in the house driving each other insane with the picking and fighting over the small things. But, life wouldn't make sense without it!
